Resources for Transgender and Other LGBTQ+ Gender Identities

Resources for Transgender and Other LGBTQ+ Gender Identities If you identify as transgender, agender, gender fluid, gender-neutral, or another LGBTQ+ gender, or if you are questioning your gender identity, the process of deciding whether to transition, actually transitioning, and thriving after transitioning can present challenges. Similarly, the process to understand and support our transgender, agender, gender fluid, gender-neutral, or other LGBTQ+ gender family members also can be daunting. PFLAG offers unconditional acceptance and support to you on your individual journey and can help you to find the information you need, including guidance on thinking through decisions about coming out to friends, families, coworkers, caregivers, schoolmates, and peers. PFLAG prides itself on being the first national organization to ensure that all of our policies are transgender inclusive. If you or your family member is on the LGBTQ+ gender spectrum, you have a home at PFLAG. Contact the Chapter if you or your youth  have questions. Visit the Additional Resources page for a list of other local LGBTQ+-friendly providers, including those providing transition support.
