Kikeokan of the Wild Turkey Clan, Cedarville Band of the Piscataway-Conoy will present “Decolonizing Gender and Sexuality in 2020.” Explore the sacred knowledge of two-spirit societies, 7 genders, and the honor of being a woman in indigenous cultures of Turtle Island. Discussion topics will include sex, gender, marriage, matriarchal societies, community based responsibility, and dismantling oppressive systems. Kikeokan is a celebrated Piscataway Conoy Savant and Virtuoso.  With 30 years of experience in live performance, public speaking, and educating about the first people of the Chesapeake Bay region.  She is the Executive Producer of the world’s premier Piscataway Conoy education and entertainment business, Conoy Creations, is a Two-Spirit (F/M), Neurodivergent, and strives to create programs that are inclusive.  In her words, she teaches to learn, protects the sacred, and lives as a well-remembered ancestor of tomorrow.
